The Story Behind Bontanica Florist
From childhood, Kay’s passion has been to fill her life with flowers. When she would go for walks, see neighbor’s gardens, or find a lonely flower in the middle of a field, Kay would have to pick it and assemble an arrangement.
Her enthusiasm for lovely flowers continued throughout her life and she began making silk arrangements to decorate her home. After seeing (and recognizing Kay’s talent) a long-time friend encouraged her to take a chance and be the florist for her son’s wedding. Kay was surprised to find out the wedding would be for nearly 800 close family friends and guests. Without fail, her passion carried her through this blissful event impressing everyone in attendance.
From that day forward, Kay has been continually striving to create beautiful and fragrant arrangements that will light up your life.
